Region of operation: Rio de Janeiro
Served audience: organizations and initiatives focused on poverty eradication
With our support, the HubEP was created to disseminate effective intersectoral methodologies for combating poverty. The platform brings together and shares theoretical and practical content accumulated over more than 30 years of work by Instituto Dara, especially through its social technology, the Family Action Plan (PAF).
The HubEP connects different social actors and promotes the integration of knowledge, gathering experiences from both public and private institutions. Officially launched in March 2023, the initiative was joined by seven organizations in May, strengthening the collaborative network: Gastromotiva, Instituto Ipê, Cieds, UniPeriferias, Ação Cidadania, Rede Asta, and Sistema B.
Testimonial:
“After more than three decades of work, Instituto Dara realized that the knowledge we have accumulated on health and poverty eradication is extremely valuable, especially in such an unequal country as ours. The contribution of Instituto Tecendo Infâncias was fundamental as seed capital for the construction of the HubEP. We are deeply grateful to the Schincariol family and to Adriane Menna Barreto.” — Vera Cordeiro, Founder and Chair of the Board of Instituto Dara
