The project was developed in partnership with the Instituto NeuroSaber, with the goal of training assistant teachers who support students with disabilities and/or neurodevelopmental disorders. The online training offered both theoretical and practical content on learning mechanisms, inclusive practices, and specialized pedagogical support.
From March to December 2023, professionals took part in courses, received continuous tutoring, and had access to support materials. The training cycle concluded with an in-person event at the municipal auditorium, attended by Luciana Brites, founder of NeuroSaber.
Results:
● 246 teachers certified (completion rate of 98.4%).
● 13 municipal schools benefited.
● 3,307 activities completed by participants.
● 97.2% of participants rated the course as essential for advancing their careers.
