In August 2022, we supported the first edition of the Itu Semana da Primeira Infância, in partnership with several municipal departments. The event aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of the early years, offering activities for children, families, and public service professionals.
Results:
● 1,500 people attended the closing event.
● 42 radio spots aired with tips on early childhood.
● 1,000 informational leaflets distributed in health units and social facilities.
● Establishment, by municipal law, of the Municipal Early Childhood Week and the Municipal Play Week.
The initiative reinforced the relevance of early childhood in the local public agenda and consolidated permanent awareness policies dedicated to young children.
