The project developed by PSA aimed to promote the holistic development of Indigenous and riverside children in the Amazon, strengthening both local caregiving practices and public policies.
Main areas of action:
● Support for public policies and training processes – capacity building for health professionals, social protection agents, public servants, and community leaders.
● Strengthening local care networks and techniques – production of playful health education materials and community workshops.
The project reached 14 Indigenous peoples, more than 70 villages, 19 territories, and about 200 riverside communities, directly impacting over 20,000 people.
