We signed a Technical Cooperation Agreement with the Prefeitura Municipal de Itu to support the design and implementation of the Plano Municipal da Primeira Infância de Itu – PMPI-Itu. The plan was unanimously approved by the City Council and enacted by Municipal Law No. 85/2022.
The initiative established intersectoral governance, involving several municipal departments and an Early Childhood Committee responsible for monitoring and aligning planned actions. The PMPI sets targets through 2032 to strengthen public policies for pregnant women, children aged 0 to 6, and their families.
